DIY Decor

My apartment was needing a bit of pizzazz, so I made this mini wall art using a wood block and acrylic paint.

Holiday Catch Up - Christmas Squirrel

I used watercolor and ink to make this little guy as a gift.

Holiday Catch Up - Cocoa Jars

I love these pre-made gift jars that pop up in stores around the holidays. I had to try making one myself! These cocoa jars are a cute and thoughtful gift to keep your friends and family cozy on those cold winter nights. All you need are mason jars, your favorite cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, candy canes, and festive decorations. (I made this one as part of a Secret Santa gift exchange.)

Holiday Catch Up - Handmade Ornaments

I've been watching a ton of crafting videos on YouTube lately, so obviously I was inspired to do a lot of DIY crafting this past holiday season! Now that the holiday craziness has calmed down, I'm going to upload a series of posts letting you guys see all the stuff I made! I'm gonna start with my handmade ornaments! :D

A trio of paper pine cones made from Styrofoam eggs, decorative paper, ribbon, and push pins.

And some presents made from Styrofoam squares, old book pages, and string.

Sip Happens

Recently one of my managers at work got a promotion. A coworker and I thought it would be a cute idea to get our whole store involved in making her a goodbye gift. We decided on a little handmade book filled with inspirational/supportive messages from the staff. My coworker was in charge of getting all the statements and I put everything together and constructed the visuals. My manager really likes flowers and wine, so that's kind of the theme we went with.

This is the front cover.
